With Acid in their Throat

You wake up in a daze, overheating, and with acid reflux burning in your throat; you remember briefly being treated to a grand meal yesterday by your captain, to celebrate the end of your labor in this mining town, and thus your freedom. The meal itself is hazy, and the aftermath is completely black. Now you find yourself stowed away in the mine.
