REPLAY - A 'Time Travel' adventure
A downloadable game
You wake up, strew across a lounge, in various chairs and sofas. A figure, Shane, yells back at you from the door ‘I’m going to go look for help! Just stay put and try to ration as much as possible!’ and before you can react, he closes the door behind him. A snowstorm is raging outside, pummeling against the windows. You hear a loud sound of glass breaking from the other room. Where are you?
REPLAY is a 'time travel' module for Mothership, with a twist; there is no actual time travel.
Someone is creating a fake timeloop and are torturing the crew over and over and over. Will they realize the reality they're in is fake? Will they escape?

It’s a rare treat to see a module that immediately makes me go “oh, my players are going to kill me” with such glee. I’ve slotted this into my rotation for the next free session we have. Beautifully information-dense and conceptually clever with the perfect ratio of answers to warden’s-decision — this is one of the best one-shot modules I’ve seen in any TTRPG.
My players did, in fact, threaten to kill me, sue me for damages, etc. They all had a ton of fun, and I’m absolutely keeping this in my back pocket for other groups. Kudos, Mia — and know that “ah, fuck, a bear” for “we really should have seen this coming” has entered my group’s repertoire of inside jokes because of you.
Omg thanks for sending an update, and for playing the module! I'm really happy to hear it went so well!
Love the layout and the idea of a creature learning.
Although I don't see a slot as treating :D
I'm glad you like it! The sloth is mostly a template for Wardens to work from ;P
